In 2019, my exploration into equestrian photography began as I joined the Monument Riding Club, participating and photographing their gymkhanas. Immersing myself in the world of horseback riding events, I quickly discovered my knack for freezing those exhilarating moments of horse and rider in action. With each event, I honed your skills, mastering the art of timing and composition to encapsulate the energy and grace of the equine athletes.
By 2022, I expanded my horizons, bringing my talents to the Mesa County Sheriff's Posse Gymkhanas. Here, amidst the rugged landscapes of Mesa County, I found new inspiration for my photography. The thrilling atmosphere of the gymkhana events, coupled with the majestic backdrop of the Colorado scenery, provided the perfect canvas for my artistic vision.
Over the years, my portfolio blossomed, capturing not only the adrenaline-fueled moments of competition but also the profound bond between horse and rider. My images became a cherished record of the dedication and passion of the equestrian community, resonating with both participants and spectators alike.
As I continue my journey as an equestrian photographer, my passion for capturing the beauty and grace of horses in motion remains undiminished. With each click of the shutter, I perpetuate the timeless bond between humans and their equine companions, leaving an indelible mark on the world of equestrian sports photography.
